World Economic Forum cancels annual meeting in Singapore

 The World Economic Forum decided to cancel its special annual meeting in Singapore during 17-20 August due to global incertainties prompted by Covid-19 such as uncertain travel outlook, differing speeds of vaccination rollout and uncertainty around new variants. 

The organisation added that the next meeting will be scheduled in the first half of 2022, but the location and date is yet to be chosen.
